Events

•      Vocational Training: offering 3 levels of professional sewing trade skills classes (beginner, intermediate, and advanced). A nine-month program. 

•      Welcome Packet and Support: help female immigrants new to Maine through a welcome packet including products for hygiene, and match the women with volunteers to help with the resettlement process. 

•      “Know Your Rights” Series: create learning and conversation workshops on a variety of subjects: access to “English as a Second Language” classes and educational opportunities, employment opportunities, rights in the workplace, gender equality, healthcare, childcare, and subsidized housing.
